GEORGE DRIVAS
George Drivas was born in Athens, Greece. He studied
Political Science at the National and Kapodistrian
University of Athens and then he completed his MA
in Film and Media studies at the Freie Universitaet in
Berlin. He is the recipient of numerous awards namely
among others, Special Mention at “Strange Screen”,
Experimental Film and Video Festival, Macedonian
Museum of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki, Greece,
2009, 2nd prize at VII Media Art Forum, XXVII Moscow
International Film Festival, Moscow, Russia, 2006 and
2nd prize at Zebra International Poetry Film Festival,
Berlin, Germany, 2002.
George Drivas’s work has been featured as a solo show in

ORESTIS ANDREADAKIS
Orestis Andreadakis is festival organizer, independent
curator, writer and film critic. In 2016 he was appointed
Artistic Director of the Thessaloniki International Film
Festival and Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.
He was born in Heraklion, Crete, studied cinema and
art history in Athens and Paris. In 1995 he co-founded
the Athens International Film Festival and in 2011 the
Athens Open Air Film Festival and directed them until
2016. He has designed, curated and presented a number
of exhibitions and installations such as: “Space Story”
(a polymorphic installation, 2009), “Hole” (a thematic
research project which included 16 participating
Athenian museums, 2010-2011), “Kafka Zone” (a special
tribute to Franz Kafka, 2011) “Rêv(e)olution” (a narrative
installation, 2012), “Regards sur la scène grecque
contemporaine” (Geneva 2013), “Frame– Light – Motion”
(a polymorphic installation on the origins and the future
of film, 2014), “The Secret” (2015), “John Berger: A
Radical Humanist” (2017). He has been decorated as
Chevalier dans l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (France).

KATERINA KOSKINA
Katerina Koskina is and Art Historian-Museologist and
Curator of exhibitions. She is the Director of the National
Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens, since 2014.
Born in Corfu, she studied French Literature at the
University of Athens, as well as History and Philosophy
of Art at Paris I-Sorbonne University. In addition, she
studied Museology at the Ecole du Louvre. She has a
PhD in Art History. She worked from 1988 to 1992 at the
European Cultural Centre of Delphi as a Special Advisor
for visual arts. She was the Greek Commissioner at
the 23rd Biennale of Sao Paulo in 1996 and at the 51st
Venice Biennale in 2005, and the Director of the 3rd,
4th and the 5th Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary
Art (2011-2015). From 1992 to October 2014 she was
Curator of the Alpha Bank Art Collection. She has been
Artistic Director of the J. F. Costopoulos Foundation,
Athens, till the end of 2014 (1992-2014). She has been
President of the Board of Trustees of the State Museum
of Contemporary Art, Thessaloniki, from December 2008
till January 2015, member of the Artistic Committee
of the Athens METRO from 1998 to 2011, and Artistic
Consultant to the Organizing Committee for the Olympic
Games / Athens 2004 S.A. from 2000 to 2004. She is a
member of ICOM (International Council of Museums),
and of AICA Hellas (International Association of Art
Critics). She has organized, directed, curated and/or
co-curated group and one-man shows and contributed
essays to several books and exhibition catalogues, as
well as articles in newspapers and art magazines. She
has been decorated as Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella
d’Italia and Chevalier dans l’ Ordre national de la Legion
d’ Honneur (France).
